Games Afternoon of CIC Rethymnon on July 3rd
On Wednesday the 3rd of July, 2013 the Rethymnon chapter of the Cretan International Community will have their monthly Games Afternoon. It will start at 5:30 p.m. in the taverna of Camping Elizabeth at Misiria: turn off from the Old National Road cattycorner the big new  church, and by the next corner turn right. There are card games, rummikub, chess, backgammon, yahtzee, scrabble and darts available. At about 8:00 p.m. dinner a la carte will be ready there. Guests and anyone interested are welcome. Feast of the Congregation of Peter & Paul on June 29th
The 29th of June is Peter & Paul's nameday. In Misiria near Rethymnon there is a church which is sanctified with these two saints. The feast of the parish of  Misiria starts in the morning with a divine service. Then the parishioners meet with friends and guests for a joint brunch at the future community center.

CIC Bus Excursion to Soughia and Omalos on June 23rd
On Sunday the 23rd of June, the Cretan International Community will have a whole-day coach excursion to West Crete. The bus will collect the participants in the morning along the track from Panormo to Hania and then go via Aghia Irini to Soughia on the south coast where we can have a swim. Afterwards we will see the entrance to the Samaria gorge and the Omalos high plateau, and finally have joint lunch in the taverna of the Botanical Park at Fournes.
